After visiting the serene Monastery, The HCM personally took us in the evening to pay our deepest respect to the war heroes at Tawang War Memorial also known as Namgyal Chorten, which was erected in memory of 2420 soldiers of the Indian Army who died in the 1962 war. The night saw a fun-filled Bonding Dinner at The HCM’s brothers Residence.
On the 2nd Day, The HCM took us for a drive to Bum La on the Indo China Border. We enjoyed spending time with the brave Indian Army Jawans of Bihar Regiment at Bumla Pass. “भारत माता की जय” और “वंदे मातरम” के नारों से गूंज उठी बुम ला! बिहार रेजिमेंट के जवानों के साथ आज भारत चीन सीमा में!
