In a bid to generate good rankings from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the students finding out in the Miranda House of Delhi University have allegedly been requested to observe sure guidelines that a few of the college students have gone on to label as “weird guidelines”.

The students have reportedly been strictly requested to stay awake on the college premises, not to dangle undergarments in the hostel balcony and dress in a “civil method”, Indian Express reported. The foundations didn’t go down too effectively with the students and a few of them even staged a protest by locking themselves of their rooms when the National Assessment and Accreditation Council visited the campus to conduct an inspection on March 27 and March 28.


The daily additional reported that the staff within the faculty have refuted such allegations whereas asserting that no guidelines had been laid down earlier than the scholars of the college. “Your entire faculty is at all times engaged within the NAAC checklist. Everybody places their greatest foot ahead,” Principal Pratibha Jolly informed the daily.

This comes simply months after the University of Delhi College put up a notification asserting that the MH students weren’t allowed to click on selfies, brush their hair and even “mannequin” across the corridors anymore. The reportage made it clear that the brand new norm was relevant to the college students attending Sunday lessons at School of Open Learning (SOL) on the Miranda Home of the Delhi College.

The reportage added that college students who didn’t comply with the new rules would face strict actions which will embrace suspension from the college. The authorities stated that they had been laying down such guidelines as they believed that the students had been losing their doing by indulging in such issues.
