The Class 10 and 12 assessments for schools subsidiary to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), that were put off in the midst of the progressing coronavirus pandemic, will be held in the primary portion of July, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said on Friday.
“The understudies have been anxiously sitting tight for the timetable for pending tests. It has been chosen today that the tests will be directed from July 1 to 15,” he said.
The CBSE will report a point by point timetable of the tests later at night, he said.
Colleges and schools the nation over were shut and tests deferred on March 16 when the focal government reported a countrywide homeroom shutdown as one of the measures to contain the COVID-19 episode.
Afterward, an across the country lockdown was reported on March 24, which has now been stretched out till May 17.
